Many of the songs that DRUMLIN performs come directly from the Helen Creighton Collection in the Nova Scotia Archives. The songs are Nova Scotia’s stories, many of them being countless centuries old and shaped by the history and landscape of this beautiful eastern province of Canada.
DRUMLIN is available to visit your school and perform these cultural treasures. They have fascinating stories about the people that the songs were collected from as well as cool facts about the instruments that they play and insight into performing, recording and song writing.
For larger school concerts, classroom shows (up-close and unplugged) or individual one-on-one lessons with students, DRUMLIN is an exciting and heart warming cultural experience for everyone.
